iLearn
At the heart of the new iLearn programme is the integration of traditional and digital pedagogies (way of teaching & learning). In this blended-learning environment teachers design the learning experiences using both digital and non-digital tools to engage students in a range of learning opportunities to support the learning needs of the students. These will be delivered utilising the flexible and creative capabilities of the pen enabled Tablet PC. In this dynamic environment students will work collaboratively with each other and their teachers.
From 2011, all students from years 8 – 12 will be part of the iLearn Programme.
The intent of the 1:1 iLearn programme is to empower students with access to information and the capacity for collaboration through a campus wide joint wired and wireless network. With networked data projectors in every teaching space, high speed access and a secure intranet, staff and students at Stuartholme have 24/7 access to school information and learning resources. The 1:1 iLearn programme empowers students with anywhere, anytime learning in a connected, online interactive community.
