Year 10
Year 10 students will study a common core and a smaller number of elective subjects.
The core will be designed to give all students a broad educational base while allowing them the freedom to select some subjects of special interest. Students’ elective choices will inform the elective subject lines. Year 10 begins the transition to Senior School where our more traditional curriculum encourages a selection of subjects that will provide a greater depth in study. SOSE is replaced with History or Geography, while Mathematics is replaced with Mathematics A Foundation Studies and Mathematics B Foundation Studies.
