MORE INFORMATION

Medical Support

Medical facilities will be available on-site and the school is very close to the Wesley Hospital. We have registered nurses on duty each shift and doctors on call 24 hours a day.

The Companions

We have taken great care to select the most appropriate and committed senior students to be companion carers. Each applicant submits a written application and resume. Interviews follow and successful applicants are trained in the various aspects of their role. Along with the nurses, the companions are supported in their role by a number of teaching staff from the schools.

The Volunteers

Volunteers are a vital part of a program such as this. We are currently calling for volunteers from across the community – students, staff and parents.

There are many ways that you can support the Camp program; through donations of goods to be consumed as part of the camp program, or as a parent volunteer or helping us to obtain the use of significant pieces of equipment to be able to manage the special needs of our campers.
